lots of fun to play and meeting other castaways. Even for a women 50 yo this calms me nerves as I wait for Dr appts -- I was given the nintendo ds with the castaways as a gift.

i completely got sucked into this like i used to on the old school sims for the PC, i've completed the game but still playing it so i can collect all the different items on the island and update my shelter, fire, and garden; lots of areas to explore and missions to completely but the missions aren't too hard to the point where they're annoying and not fun, if you liked the orginal sims for the computer then i think you'd like this game too -- Just Like Old Times

I thought this game was quite fun. I play the Sims 2 on PC and the Sims Stories. So this was a great little game to play. It's kept my interest and Ive been playing it for days now. This is the only Sims DS game that I have played so far...the meters bars in the game are simular to the PC Sims with green being happy and content to red being sad and in dire need of attention.

Over all I would recommend this game to those who liked playing the The Castaway Stories on PC. -- Fun and entertaining

This game is really fun. There's always something to do whether you need to find food, make new objects and clothing, and overall exploring the island. I was addicted to this game when I got it. I've had it for a few months and i still have'nt completed the game or gotten bored of it. Some games i've gotten for my ds were too easy and i'd be done in a few days, but the sims 2 castaway keeps you busy. I've also had the sims 2 apartment pets and got bored pretty quickly. You just do the same thing over and over but this sims game is really fun and challenging. I would recommend this to anyone that likes the sims and a good challenging game. -- Cool!

I've played through this game twice, the second time to see if I could get 100% and that makes it even more fun to find all the items. Now I'm playing through as a male so I can see the different clothes. It's a relaxing game for me. It's much easier keeping your bars up the second time around because by then you know how and what works best. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the quest part of the game had lasted longer and also finding the ship that gets you off the island had taken longer but other than that, it's a great game. -- One of my favorite ds games
