Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts.

User Reviews about Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I bought this for my 10 yr old son.The coolest thing was i had to play it also. we had fun. Our fav part was the games. -- Potter
The game didn't live up to my love of Harry Potter, or even the likeness I have for video games in general. It was, well, boring. They have you running all over the castle and Hogwarts grounds in search of random crap, only to have to go search for more random crap in order to trade for that random crap. The Quiditch is very boring, and frustrating at times. The high points for me were the duels, and making potions. -- Not as exciting as I was expecting.
I had been looking forward to getting this game for a long time.....and now that I finally got it, played it, and finished it.....I can honestly say that for about $20 (the price I paid for it) it wasn't worth the money.
Pros: The mini games were entertaining. I liked Wizard Skittles :) And I liked the little missions that I had to accomplish throughout the castle. It was fun collecting items and trading with other players and dueling against enemies. The text in the game closely matched that of the movie.
Cons: The graphics are DEFINITELY a step (or maybe A LEAP!!) down from the DS version of Order of the Phoenix. The characters are VERY small and often difficult to move with the controls. Thus...Quidditch is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!! I thought Quidditch on OOTP was bad....this made it seem easy!! I hated every second of quidditch.....and the fact that I even got thru the games at all....I think was by chance. The music is terrible and I quickly decided to just turn the sound off. Dueling doesn't require much effort.....OOTP was at least a little challenging. The game seemed a bit short compared to OOTP and Goblet of Fire. Potion making was totally frustrating. I spent HOURS trying to make a potion and kept running out of time.....until I got on-line and found out that when pounding licorice....you need to move the little bottle at the bottom of the screen to catch the pieces.
I would strongly recommend buying this game USED if you have to have it. Otherwise (like me) you may feel like your money would have been better spent elsewhere. -- A bit dissappointing!
This game is very exciting. You really have to battle to get to the next level. I like that it keeps me going. -- Amazing
