User Reviews about Dementium: The Ward
This is one of the best and most extreme 3d horror survival games I have ever played and all on the awesome DS/DSI/DSI XL. Great story, scary as hell, great controls and loads of cool guns, this one is a DS classic right through. -- Amazing and Scary! A DS classic.
Sadly, First-Person Shooters aren't a very large commodity on the Nintendo DS. As much as I wish Id Software would make Quake and Quake II for the system, I know my wishes will go unanswered. At any rate, the closest thing that I've got is Dementium: The Ward.
Dementium: The Ward, in my opinion, is the next best thing. Dementium is gory, creepy, intense and- most of all- original. It's hard to explain exactly what the game is about but, trust me, you'll have a blast finding out. Dementium is one part Resident Evil, one part Silent Hill, one part Doom & Quake mixed together in a unique cocktail that makes it like none of those things.
It's not a FPS that you'll finish in one boring afternoon. The puzzles in the game will see to that. -- Dementium:The Ward........
I was impressed by what the DS can do with this game. The game is a kind of flat and undiverse but still fun. The levels are rather short so its easy to finish one on the go. The puzzles are a little too easy but better than nothing, and the monsters creepy. You have to play this late at night in the dark. It wont give the scares of say a silent hill or resident evil but still great. This is a great addition to my mature/horror/DS game stack. -- Dementium
I ordered the game and it arrived about 2 or 3 days after I ordered it. Fast shipping and the game was wrapped and everything. -- Great
